The challenge is still on! Make the leaderboard and be part of this historic project as we work together to build a pool on the school premises.
The Class of 1984 made a splash with an incredible R18 000 donation towards the pool fundraiser!
The Class of 1990 has also joined the competition, raising the stakes even higher. Other classes are encouraged to step up, get involved and beat their contributions.
Earlier this term, we set our WKS community a special challenge: to collect 145 items of dog and cat food for the Greytown SPCA, marking 145 years of education at Wartburg.
Thanks to the incredible support of our school families and community, we reached our goal! 145 items were proudly handed over to the Greytown SPCA yesterday, ready to help the many animals in their care.
A huge thank you to every family who contributed and helped turn our 145 year milestone into an opportunity to give back to our wider community.

What a wonderful way to end Term 3!
There was such a special atmosphere at WKS as our learners and teachers arrived dressed in clothing representing their different cultures and heritage. The school was filled with colour, pride and excitement as everyone shared a little of who they are and where they come from.
One of the loveliest parts of the day was seeing our learners proudly explaining their clothing, traditions and heritage to their friends, giving everyone the opportunity to learn from and celebrate one another.
A beautiful reminder of the many cultures and traditions that make up our WKS family, and a very special way to end the term.
Bringing in the Spring Equinox on Wednesday, 23 September, with a wet and wonderful welcome!
Our learners celebrated the Spring Equinox with a fun-filled Water Spring Fun Day!
Learners took part in a variety of exciting activities, enjoyed some free play, and made wonderful memories together. It was a joyful way to celebrate the end of the term while welcoming the changing season and looking forward to warmer, rain-filled summer days ahead.

Today, our WKS team hosted a water table for the Old Mutual Go2Sea Mountain Bike Race.
We had a great day out on the course, serving the many cyclists who passed by our table. It was wonderful meeting so many cyclists and helping to keep them hydrated as they continued on their journey.
A huge thank you to our amazing team for putting together such a fantastic water point and for making the day a memorable one!
